Jack saved this young man from being arrested and sent back to Italy, he had the most perfect eyes and a smile that melted Jack’s heart - they soon began to fall for each other and though Angelo was resistant at first because of his religious upbringing, he soon learnt to trust Jack.

 They began to sell wine to people when Alcohol wasn’t allowed, a mob caught up with them and they ended up working for them. Jack introduced Angelo to various alien technology upon working for the Mob [they discovered it in a warehouse]. It seemed the perfect life and Jack was so happy with Angelo, the two did everything together and were never apart, he protected Angelo, wanting to make sure he was safe. His first love.

During 1942, Jack met Estelle Cole while he was serving in the war, they went to many dances together and fell in love. She wanted to spend the rest of her life with him but Jack knew he couldn’t - he’d stay forever young and she’d age and wouldn’t understand.

  Though he finally got to reunite with her, posing as the son of the man that she had once loved. It broke his heart that he couldn’t hold her how he used to, or dance to the old classics. When she died he felt like something had been ripped from him. He misses Estelle, he misses her so very much.

Jack grew up in a Conley on earth in the 51st century called ‘Boeshane Peninsula’. It was a wonderful place, sand dunes and grassy fields that he and his brother would play in till they were scolded by their mother for not coming home when they should have. But then the creatures came, Jack and Gray [his brother] fled - Jack instructed to look after his brother but his hand slipped and he lost Gray.

    During his time living in Boeshane, Jack joined the time agency, the youngest recruit but one of the best, be became the poster boy and was nicknamed ‘The face of Boe’. Of course he misses his past but Boeshane now is just another nightmare, another bad dream that he wants to forget. People grief over loosing their family members but when you’re responsible for their death…

Jack wears his military uniform because it reminds him of a time when he felt important and needed. He has always been apart of some sort of government run scheme whether it be the time agency or the army or even the royal air force, Jack sees himself as a man who fights.

  People can mock up but he knows the reason behind it and by God does he look good in it.

Jack lives in the Hub - he has lived there since Torchwood began to grow and the world started to need them. Before then he stayed in B&Bs and cheap hotels till he found Cardiff and he fell in love with it. For years he’d struggled to settle down somewhere but to him Cardiff was Home
